I tried cancelling my service and it took me 45 minutes to do over the phone. The customer service representative kept putting me on hold then coming back with more offers to retain me, despite me telling her multiple times to not do so. Despite getting mad at her and demanding she stop trying to sell me on anything, she kept offering me more promotions. Literally the worst customer service interaction I've had in my entire life, I felt like I was being held hostage by this company since I couldn't hang up for almost an hour.

Avoid this company! Worse customer service, charged me additional 2 months after I told them to cancel. Turned the equipment in 2 months ago, they said had to call to cancel since they don't do it at the store. Thought it was cancelled apparently not. I am currently on minute 37 of the cancelation phone call. Customer service sucks and hard to understand. Transferred to the 4th person just to cancel since the next level department has to verify it. Still on hold as I write this review for the next department. In the end the extra $300 had to pay is worth it to never deal with this company again. btw now on minute 42 of the cancelation and still not handled.

We had trouble with another local Internet provider and switched recently to Optimum. Our tech, Reece, did an outstanding job figuring out what we needed for our old home to get Internet up and running quickly. He was polite, quiet, proactive in correcting some issues, and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend 5/5!

This review is for Deon at the College Station,TX store. I needed to disconnect my WiFi service and the 800 number was worthless! So bad that I will never recommend them to anyone. But in the store to return my equipment, Deon was very helpful and patient with me despite my frustrations. She gave me the number to call for disconnection and told me what to say. All the while, she had my account open on her computer waiting for the disconnection to come through. When she saw that it was there, she flagged me so I could disconnect the call with the 800 number. She was so very helpful! And after a long day of moving, she was an angel that night! Now for the 800 people. If you need to disconnect, you need to make them disconnect you. They cannot do it in the store. I learned the hard way. I spoke with 3 different people to disconnect my service because I was graduating and moving. The first guy wouldn’t do it and said he had a system error. So I went to the store. This is when I was told they cannot do it in the store. I had 2 more customer service people tell me they couldn’t finish the disconnection and had system errors. She greeted me warmly, listened to my needs, and recommended the perfect bundle with clear explanations—no pressure. She efficiently resolved an account issue, and made everything seamless.
